My Favourite Films of All Time: 10-1

10. A Clockwork Orange
Kubrick's controversial masterpiece is so good, it has to be seen to be believed. Every viewing is as jaw dropping as the last. No one has made a film like this before, and it's unlikely anyone else will.

9. Pulp Fiction
It only takes one viewing of this to realise this simple fact: No one makes films like Quentin Tarantino.

8. 2001: A Space Odyssey
This proved back in 1968 that you didn't need CGI to create incredible visuals. Jaw-dropping.

7. The Godfather
As good as the sequel is (and it is damn good), you can't beat the legendary original.

6. Taxi Driver
I've only seen this once, but once was enough for me to deem it one of the best films of all time. Simply awesome.

5. Let The Right One In
Why do I love this film so? Well, for me, it was the film that really started my love and passion for film. I mean, I loved film before seeing this, but this film had such an amazing power, that it really opened my eyes to the wider world of film.

4. The Dark Knight
Yeah, yeah, I know most of you will probably disagree with me here, but this is here for a reason. I can't think of a film that has had such an overwhelming effect on me than this one. There are better films of course, but this one is the one that has affected me the most.

3. Fight Club
Upon multiple viewings of Fight Club, you see that there is so much more to it than meets the eye. You always find something rewarding upon every viewing. And that's the mark of a great film.

2. Donnie Darko
I've watched this about 10 times (at least), and I still don't fully understand it. But who cares. This film is so hypnotic, so amazing, that it's impossible not to be drawn into it. Many have tried to imitate it. All have failed.

1. Memento
What can I say about Memento other than preaching its brilliance? Well, it literally blew my mind the first time I saw it. It left me speechless the first time, and it still does. It's one of those films that you don't fully know why you love it so much. You just do. And that's why I love it.

  6. Good List i think the order must change and time is the best judge for a film i doubt that Donnie Darko would have the Same endurence that say 2001 or the Godfather which their contribution to the Art is undeniable.
